about

This song dates right back to 1991 when I began composing and recording in this style and was recorded and performed a few times at that time. Recorded again for the 2000 album Studio.

lyrics

Now's the time that I should let out
My thoughts of us and what we're about
Despite the fact that you've been behind my back
With someone else I can't believe that it's true
And you said I was the only one for you

So now you've lied
And when I cried inside I knew a part of me died
Now I hurt so bad
Don't you think it's sad
That you and I could have been together
But now that's all gone
I'd rather not know you anymore
The pain I bear is starting to destroy my soul
I'd rather not know you anymore
All you have done is just left me cold

I never thought that I’d find someone
Who I needed so much and now I find I was wrong
After all this time
You said you had enough
But what was the problem?
I couldn’t see one myself

I'd rather not know you anymore
The pain I bear is starting to destroy my soul
I'd rather not know you anymore
It wasn't my love but my whole heart you stole
